Great news for embedded computer users! AAEON Technology Inc., one of the leading IPC companies in Taiwan, is proud to announce the successful development of two Mini-PCI modules - PER-C10L and PER-C20U. The two Mini-PCI modules offer different functions to meet a customer's needs. The PER-C10L meets the demand for multiple Ethernet ports on a single board. Additionally, users can upgrade to Gigabit Ethernet easily. In terms of the PER-C20U, users can upgrade their present devices to USB 2.0 with 480Mbps data transfer rate easily.
Especially for the Embedded PC product line, AAEON has designed a series of standard Mini-PCI modules. Simultaneously, AAEON has implemented Mini-PCI sockets in many new board products. The PER-C10L mainly provides four flexible Ethernet chip options, such as Intel 10/100 Base-T, Intel 1000 Base-T, Realtek 10/100 Base-T and Realtek 1000 Base-T. The PER-C20U can provide great performance and compatibility using the NEC USB 2.0 controller; providing rich connectivity with four USB 2.0 ports.
IPC and Embedded systems can be consumer-oriented. Hence, the application fields of the PER-C10L focus on Home Gateway and Firewall, and the PER-C20U focuses on Mobile Disk and USB Camera. Through these features, AAEON believes that users can fulfill their needs in their specialized fields.
The PER-C10L and PER-C20U will be released in August, 2004.
