Taipei Taiwan (July 18, 2008)--AAEON, the professional network appliance platform manufacturer, releases a brand new swappable fiber network appliance platform--FWS-7600.  The FWS-7600 has many innovative designs, such as swappable modules, an LCM display and keypad control.  This fiber network appliance platform is a flexible tool that can be installed in VPN, IDS (Intrusion Detection System), and servers.

The FWS-7600 features Intel Xeon Quad Core 3200 series processor (up to 2.66GHz) and dual Core 3000 series (up to 2.4GHz), and supports four 240-pin dual-channel ECC DDRII 667 SDRAM DIMM (up to 8GB). The FWS-7600 deploys Intel 3010 chipset that offers high computing capabilities. With the ECC function, the FWS-7600 provides better reliability.
