Hardware, software and mechanical engineering are on its staff, which means ODM/OEM customeres have the opportunity to work with them during regular business hours. AAEON Account Executives are trained to recognize opportunities with OEM clients where applications may befefit from a customized feature set derived from a standard SBC. Reduced features (called depopulation) or customized BIOS are possible, usually requiring a minimum order. Another cost-saving feature such as bulk packaging is possible with larger volume orders.

At each of our engineering facilities, an engineer is appointed as the dedicated overseer of ODM/OEM projects to ensure thorough and timely progress. This engineer wil assist in every phase, from concept and specification, to design and prototype and then onto verification and compliane testing. From that point on, the goal is to have a successful pilot run and then go into mass production after reviw of the pilot production items by the client, production and engineering staff.

The US engineering office works in combination with engineering offices in Taiwan and Chian to deliver a Global Engineering Solution so that almost every phase of design from concept to first prototype to pilot production is under the wathcful eyes of experiencd engineers to deliver a practical solution for mass production.
