    EPIC-BDU7充分发掘了处理器的超低功耗（ULP）技术潜力，将它的功耗需求降低到仅有15瓦，从而允许采用无风扇的配置。而在图形方面则通过支持最新的超高清（4k分辨率）视频和同步三显强化了相应的功能。

    EPIC-BDU7搭载第5代 Intel® Core™处理器，它仅需15瓦的低功耗，却带给我们超凡的性能体验。同时Intel®的最新处理器在图形处理方面也有加强。它支持4K分辨率的视频与媒体内容，并且能通过主板的LVDS、VGA、DisplayPort和eDP接口选择提供3个独立的显示。此外这款新一代产品还支持最新的操作系统和当前的高速I/O设备。

    研扬科技在EPIC板型上还提出了创新的电路板布局。它通过将CPU放在主板的焊锡面从而简化了最佳散热所需的系统机械设计。除了USB、COM、SATA和PCIe插槽等多种I/O功能外，EPIC-BDU7还提供了一个PCI-104插槽，可以通过它将多个外围板卡堆叠在主板之上。
