The Intel® Apollo Lake powers the 6 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Appliance and provides a cost-effective solution for SOHO and SMB to optimize network applications including Firewall, VPN, Load Balancing, Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN), Software Defined Network (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFW), Unified Threat Management (UTM), Wireless Network Access Controller (NAC) and Virtual Customer Premise Equipment (vCPE), without complicated configuration required.
Designed around the 6W TDP Intel® Atom™ N3350 Processor SoC, the FWS-2271 is a capable, energy-efficient network appliance that consistently performs at peak efficiency. Expansion slots include 2 Mini-card slots that facilitate Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G LTE for greater connectivity, in addition to an internal SATA III connector for a 2.5" HDD.
