FWB-2250采用Intel® Atom™ E3815/E3827/Celeron® J1900 SoC处理器，并配备了2个204针单通道DDR3L 1066/1333 SODIMM插槽，可以支持最多8GB的系统内存。它带有4个千兆以太网LAN端口，并可选择实施1对LAN旁路功能。

此外它还提供通过其他网络产品进行灵活功能扩展的可能，并为此配备了1个可选的MiniCard插槽、2个USB 2.0端口、1个USB 3.2 Gen 1端口和1个用于控制台的RJ-45端口。控制台端口可以部署控制台重定向，从而通过远程控制提高网络的安全性。这些设计共同构成了更为人性化的解决方案。
