AAEON Joins the Advanced Motion Control Team2016-08-24
A Step Forward to Industrial 4.0
【Taipei, Taiwan】Aug 24, 2016—AAEON, a major designer of professional IoT solutions and a member of Intel® IoT Alliance, signed a contract with NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP. and other major manufacturers and founded “The Advanced Motion Control Team”. Concurrently, under the witness of the Industrial Development Bureau, AAEON signed the MOU at the 2016 Business Innovation Forum held by Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA). This will increase the opportunity for Taiwan to align with Japan more often on product development, moving forward and establish a long term partnership between the two countries to expand the intelligent factory market and maximize the effect of “one plus one is greater than two.”
NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP is a key member of the Advanced Motion Control Team. Along with AAEON, other Taiwanese software and hardware companies, such as Uni-Innovate Technology, ADLINK and CADMEN are also members of the Team. With the essential skills and the facilitation of medium and small size robotic arms from NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP., AAEON will collaborate with its business partners to develop innovative and advanced motion controllers. This newly-invented controller can be widely-utilized in the application of different types of robotic arms, or serves as the control centre of the assembly line in the factories. Meanwhile, the services of subsystem modularization and customization will speed up the Digital Twin integration to satisfy the demands of intelligent device manufactures. Through frequent technical exchanges with alliance members, Taiwan is believed to make further improvements in the development of intelligent factories in the Industrial 4.0 era.
“Industrial 4.0 is a growing trend and AAEON is dedicated to research and development of products such as robotics, automated manufacturing lines, the main infrastructure of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and industrial 4.0 for automated factories. These devices are ideal for remote monitoring, error prevention, security, problem tracking and work progress controlling. As a member of the Advanced Motion Control Team, AAEON closely cooperates with experts from leading industries, governments and academic professionals and also intends to design products which can bump the development of the manufacturing industry faster and further,” said Alex Hsueh, Director of AAEON’s System Platform Division (SPD). Presently, AAEON has a series of rugged Box PC’s, such as BOXER-6403, BOXER-6403M, BOXER-6403WT, BOXER-6404, BOXER-6404M, and BOXER-6404WT, designed for robotics and automated product lines.
