The EMB-A50M is a new product in the Mini-ITX form factor that has an onboard AMD Fusion processor and AMD Hudson chipset. There is a choice between the AMD T56N dual-core processor and the AMD T44R single core processor. There is also support for up to 8GB of DDR3 memory available through two SODIMM slots. Storage and operating system requirements are easily met through the five SATA 6.0 Gb/s connectors. Expansion interfaces are offered through the half-size Mini-PCIe interface and PCI-E〔x4〕slot. End users can easily channel the 5.1CH HD Audio through the Line-in, Mic-in, and Line-out port. This board offers connectivity with systems and devices through the two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, three RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, two USB 3.0 ports, 10 USB 2.0 ports and an 8-bit Digital I/O interface.
