AAEON AI@Edge Solutions on Display at Embedded World 2020

(Taipei, Taiwan – February 24, 2020) – AAEON, a leading developer of embedded AI and Edge Computing solutions, will be attending Embedded World 2020 in Nuremburg. The expo lasts from February 25th thru the 27th. AAEON will have a range of products on display as well as several live demos of real-world AI and Edge Computing applications developed with software partners. Visitors can see AAEON’s display at Hall 1 Booth 350 of the convention center.

Visitors who stop by the AAEON booth will have an opportunity to view a wide range of AAEON embedded platforms designed to power AI computing at the Edge. Along with static displays, AAEON will have several live demos set up to showcase the broad range of AI@Edge solutions from the flexible, compact UP Board family to the high-performance BOXER-6841M.

The UP series boards will be on full display at the AAEON booth. Visitors will be able to see applications such as Factory Access Control turnstile utilizing facial recognition powered by the UP Board. The UP Squared System will be demoing Personal Protective Equipment check, a system which can visually identify if employees are wearing the proper safety gear. The UP Core with AI Core X, featuring Intel® Movidius® Myraid™ X, will be performing visual quality control.

Visitors can also see several UP based Edge network solutions demos. Connecting Industrial PLCs to Cloud servers, the UPX Edge and AIOT-IGWS01 work to provide remote access to industrial edge networks. The UP Board based AIOT-IP6801 rugged LoRa gateway will also be on display.

AAEON will also demo several performance intensive solutions, including PCB Optical Inspection with the BOXER-6841M and Nvidia RTX-2060, as well as a Smart Surveillance application powered by the FWS-8600 with Second Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors featuring Intel® Deep Learning Boost. Other demos will include a range of AAEON products including the RISC powered ROXER-3210AI, BOXER-8120AI and BOXER-8170AI with Nvidia Jetson TX2, GENE-APL7 system with Kneron NPU, and the HERO Device Management Center (DMC) with BOXER-6405 HERO Gateway.

Speakers from AAEON will be holding two forums during the event. Visitors are invited to listen to Aling Wu discuss how to streamline AI into embedded solutions (Feb 25th, 13:00-13:30), and join Daniele Cleri for a talk about AAEON UP Squared and AWS Robomaker can bring your robot application from idea to industrialization (Feb 26th, 15:00-15:30). Both talks will be held at the Exhibitor’s Forum in Hall 2, 2-510. Also, be sure to join AAEON for the Booth Party on Feb 26th from 18:00 to 22:00.
