UP Core為一款具高性能但低功耗特性的超迷你Quadcore x86創客開發板，內建Intel®Atom™x5 Z8350處理器（前Cherry Trail）(64bits,1.92GHz)。內建新型Intel第8代HD 400繪圖核心(12個執行單元,500MHz)，可提供極高的3D繪圖效能。
UP Core搭載1GB/2GB/4GB DDR3L內存，和16GB/32GB/64GB eMMC。透過100-pin擴充連接，UP Core能提供創客自由地堆疊載板。提供多種接口彈性運用，例如1個USB3.0、2個USB2.0、1個UART Header、WiFi、藍牙(DSI/eDP)，2個Camera（MIPI-CSI)，1個HMDI及RTC。
就安全性能而言，UP Core具有專業物聯網應用所需的多種安全特性，如Intel® AES-NI和Intel®身分辨識保護技術(Intel® IPT)。
