Product Overview
The FWS-7300 network control system features 8 LAN & PCI expansion slots and is well suited for entry-level IDS/IPS, firewall, anti-virus gateway, and Unified Threat Management (UTM) applications.
The condensed 1U FWS-7300 incorporates the Intel Pentium M/ Celeron M processor (up to 2.1 GHz - BGA/ socket co-lay), and two 200-pin DDRII 400 SODIMM system memory (up to 2 GB). The Intel® 910GMLE + Intel® 82801FBM (ICH6M) chipset replaces the Intel® 852GM giving it higher performance at a lower cost. The FWS-7300 deploys an Intel 82574 PCI-E〔x1〕10/100/1000Base-TX chip that features two RJ-45 ports and an Intel 82541/82551 co-lay chip allowing four RJ-45 ports with 2-port bypass functions. In addition, this model is equipped with one ATA 100 and DOM (up to 2GB support) CD-ROM ATAPI devices, two SATA I, and one Type II CompactFlash slot for OS and application updates. The storage can be easily accessed and replaced through a simple removable cover on the rear panel.
