EMB-CV1 has a dual core Intel® Atom™ D2550 processor with good performance. Built on the 32nm process technology, EMB-CV1 brings the latest technological advances and performance optimizations at higher CPU clock rates than previously available.
The EMB-CV1 comes with two DDR3 800/1066 SODIMM slots to support a maximum of 4 GB of memory. Equipped with four RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, seven USB2.0 ports (four onboard type A connectors and three 5x2 pin headers), one Line-in/Line-out/Mic-in port as well as one Keyboard/Mouse port, the EMB-CV1 is ready to go, right out of the box. If additional expansion is required, the board comes with both a PCI-Express〔x1〕 slot and one Full size Mini-Card (PCI x 1 + USB, mSATA optional) + SIM Card x 1.
EMB-CV1 is ideal for industrial applications in need of stable and flexible I/O connections. As it features the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3650 chipset, EMB-CV1 is also good for entry-level POS and Digital Signage applications. Moreover, this fanless board has anti-shock and anti-vibration properties, which is great for In-Vehicle devices with displays.
