    BrainFrame™ is a smart vision platform that is built to be easy to scale, highly configurable, and deployable on-premise or to the cloud. BrainFrame turns any connected camera into a continuously monitoring sensor for analytics, serving a variety of vertical markets.

    Powered by an automatic algorithm fusion and optimization engine, BrainFrame enables plug and play integration of VisionCapsules™. VisionCapsules are a packaging format for any algorithm running on smart vision devices. These self-contained capsules have a negligible memory footprint and include all necessary code, files, and metadata to describe and implement a machine learning algorithm. Analysis results are provided in a standard format that may be consumed by the smart vision device or by other software clients.

    The BrainFrame Edge AI DevKit is applicable across many verticals and targets AI Developers who are looking to quickly deploy their products without spending extra time learning difficult neural processing coding. Customers can have flexible configuration options to tackle different vertical applications where compute and neural processing power requirements can vary.

    VisionCapsules™ is a powerful system for describing the optimal hardware, configuring the algorithm, and defining the inputs and outputs of the capsule. One can easily pick and combine a variety of capsules to extract sophisticated data from video streams all without the need for any programming.

    The BrainFrame Edge AI DevKit comes with a variety of VisionCapsules pre-loaded. Developers can also find more additional inference models, VisionCapsules, from an ever-growing list at the BrainFrame download site. For VAR/System Integrator, there are production-ready, high accuracy VisionCapsules for actual deployment use. For algorithm developers, the BrainFrame Edge AI DevKit provides a platform for AI model development. Developers can also upload their own VisionCapsules to BrainFrame for deployment use.

    How does it work?

    The BrainFrame Edge AI DevKit comes included with all of the required software pre-installed. The pre-installed operating system is Linux with the BrainFrame server and client running on top. Developers should register here at BrainFrame to download a license and install the license on the DevKit. That's it, your BrainFrame Edge AI DevKit is all ready to go!

    Use Case Example:

    The BrainFrame Edge AI DevKit has test video files included for demo/test use. Developers can also connect one or multiple USB or IP cameras for live video streams input. For example, an entrance area can be drawn to trigger an alert whenever there is a person who passes by the pre-configured region. A facial recognition database can also be set up to identify whether the person entering the pre-configured region is an previously identified or unidentified individual. All of this can be done without having to engage in any programming.
